This service provides the main source of professional procurement advice for each Partner. The service ensures that spend is well-managed and that the client organisations achieve value for money and cost savings through category management of spend and control of low value transactional spend.
Category Management is the strategic "end to end" process whereby supply capability is fully aligned to business goals and customer requirements. We have already delivered significant savings for each of the Partners using Category Management.
We have 5 Category Managers who cover the following areas:

Estates, Buildings and Infrastructure: including highways, new build, maintenance, soft FM and utilities

Social Care: this covers Adult Social Care, particularly caring for people in their own homes.
